Twins that Cook is a gourmet cookie brand that is rapidly growing with opportunities and partnerships! As our brand is evolving, we're looking to grow our team! We pride our company on success and helping others achieve it. We are seeking a dedicated Food Prep worker and experienced Baker to join our culinary team while in a partnership with a major airline to produce cookies on flights. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of dough and ensure that food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the pastry and bakery industry and a commitment to providing high-quality service in a kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for baking. Rolling dough is the start of the operation!
Assist in the cooking process under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers.
Follow established food safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
packaging and boxing of cookies
Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order completion.
Clean kitchen equipment and work areas after use to uphold hygiene standards.
Assist with online orders
Experience
Previous experience in prep work is preferred but not mandatory. (if applying for prep work)
Pastry chef or baker with at least 2 yrs minimum
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is highly desirable.
Experience working in a dietary department or similar setting can be beneficial.
A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential.
