Looking for Bar Manager. We are searching for a leader with 4+ years of progressive bar management experience.
Candidates must have experience leading 30+ employees in a bar/night life environment. Strong communication skills, proficiency in relevant software, strong financial knowledge, and robust knowledge of spirits / beer required.
This is for a Latin gastropub concept, our second location, first locatin is in LIC.

The Manager is responsible for overseeing all of the bar's operations, which includes hiring and firing staff, purchasing food, liquor, supplies and equipment, and dealing with suppliers and vendors.
The BM also oversees maintenance and upkeep of the dining areas, kitchen, and exterior grounds of the restaurant; scheduling of staff; decisions regarding the menu; budgeting, promoting and advertising the restaurant;
The Bar Manager is likely to be on the floor much of the time, particularly during busy times or busy seasons. Interact with guest from time to time.
There may be additional areas of responsibility, such as marketing and promotion, or finding entertainment or scheduling other events.
The Bar Manager must be skilled in handling stressful working conditions, be an excellent multitask-er, and be able to deal with frequent interruptions calmly and decisively.
Bar Manager, Restaurant Tasks:
- Scheduling, forecast, strategize,
- Estimate food, liquor and supply needs, oversee the placement of orders.
- Inventory
- Hire, train, and supervise managers and staff.
- Manage the budget, administer payroll, and make sure operations remain within budget.
- Establish and enforce standards and regulations for personnel, administration, entertainment, and food.
Will be working in conjunction with the Operators of the establishment.
