Now Hiring: Bar Manager for a Busy Brooklyn Bar
We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead the beverage program at our high-energy, full-service bar in Brooklyn. This role is perfect for someone passionate about craft cocktails, seasonal ingredients, and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and curate a seasonal craft cocktail menu, incorporating fresh, local ingredients—including one or two frozen cocktails.
Oversee bar scheduling to align with a la carte business, special events, and private parties.
Conduct weekly inventories and track liquor costs to optimize profitability.
Handle ordering and inventory management for all beer, wine, liquor, and bar supplies.
Collaborate with restaurant leadership to ensure compliance with NYC Health Department regulations and uphold the highest sanitation and cleanliness standards.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food and beverage service, including wine and beer pairings.
Maintain accurate costing and pricing of beer, wine, and spirits.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong knowledge of cocktail creation, mixology techniques, and seasonal ingredients.
Experience in inventory management, cost control, and vendor relations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Familiarity with food and beverage pairings, wine service, and full-service bar operations.
Leadership skills to train and manage bar staff while fostering a strong team environment.
Knowledge of NYC bar and restaurant health regulations.
