We are a seasonal Italian restaurant that started in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Our seasonal menus adapt traditional and old school family cooking techniques to modern tastes. BARANO is a company that is very passionate about well-executed and balanced Italian food, raw and natural wines, craft cocktails, spirits, and beers.
We have a ghost kitchen in Soho Manhattan that we are hiring for. We will delivering all the same food we do at Barano and need to keep the same standards as we do in Brooklyn. We have been very busy and looking to add a new member to our staff.
Barano is currently looking for dedicated and driven Line Cooks to join our team. You will be trained on all stations, pizza and pasta station.
You will be responsible for cooking at a high level, organizing, maintaining standards, prepping your station, and cleanliness
Ideas Candidates:
Genuinely love to cook
Able to take direction
Have a high level of organization skills
Are professional, articulate, friendly and punctual
Possess a knowledge of Italian cuisine
At least 2 year experience working in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen
Able to make pizza by hand ( a plus not required)
Able to follow and scale recipes
Maintain health department standards
Have NYC Health department permit
Maintain food quality and restaurant standards
Ability to demonstrate great teamwork in a hospitality driven environment
