Náko is hiring part time Baristas and a Lead Barista for our new café located in the heart of Brooklyn’s historic Columbia Place. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, passionate team and help build a warm and welcoming community around great coffee and hospitality.
We are looking for individuals who are kind, customer-focused, and thrive in a team environment. At Náko, we value a family-like atmosphere and are excited to work with people who want to grow with us as we create something special.
What We’re Looking For:
Part Time Baristas with at least 1 - 2 years of experience in specialty coffee.
A Lead Barista with at least 3 years of specialty coffee experience and leadership skills.
Warm, friendly, and positive personalities who connect well with our customers and team.
A commitment to exceptional customer service and hospitality, making everyone feel at home.
Skill in brewing coffee, pulling espresso shots, dialing in grinders, making pour-overs, and crafting beautiful latte art.
Ability to thrive in a busy environment, multitask with grace, and remain calm under pressure.
Team players who are reliable, cooperative, and eager to help out with any task—from making drinks to keeping the shop clean and organized.
NYC Food Handler’s card is a plus.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
What We Offer:
Barista pay: $16–$20/hour.
Lead Barista pay: $20–$24/hour.
Estimated tips that average $5/hour on top of hourly pay.
