Very much the face of our restaurant; bartenders are required for a multitude of tasks and responsibilities while upholding the high standards set forth by management. Communication, attention to detail, confidence, class and polish are required and essential to having a successful tenure as a bartender at Friend of a Farmer.
Requirements:
Must have AT LEAST 3-5 years experience as a bartender in Upscale Casual/Fine Dinning Environment.
Must have AT LEAST 1-3 years in a NYC restaurant.
Must have intermediate-advanced wine knowledge.
Must have cocktail knowledge.
Must have OPEN availability weekends are a must.
Pre-Requisties:
Calm and collected under pressure.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Team Player.
Respectful.
Willingness to learn as well as take constructive criticism.
Experience in farm-to-table restaurants preferred but not required.
