Porter/ Busser Position Description
Looking for a porter/ busser to join our Pastry team at our recently opening pastry shop. We are looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, and detail oriented. This position is a hybrid of porter and front of house busser positions. Any applicant must be able to take care of dishes/ sheet trays as well as keep the front of house spotless.
Duties include maintaining the perfect cleanliness and organization of the dining room / mezzanine, patio and bathroom, through all aspects from floor to ceiling, and going to storage room and replenishing inventory.
Additional Duties include organizing food deliveries (being able to carry up to 50lb), dishwashing, moping Back of House and Front of House, windexing all windows inside and outside, handling periodic deep cleanings, and more.
List of duties:
Take out patio furniture
Clean sidewalk in-front of shop
Clean and maintain floors in the dining room
Assist with putting deliveries away
Maintaining shop cleanliness and DOH standards
Deep cleanings
Helping front of house clean dishes when busy
Trash Removal
Buffing floors
General handy-man duties/ Helping with getting products from storage
Cleaning condensers on walk ins
Window cleaning
Must be able to work mornings and weekends.
