Our established production catering company seeks a dependable Delivery Driver committed to customer satisfaction and safe, timely food transport. Responsibilities include pick-up, set-up, and drop-off of food orders, ensuring completeness, correct packing, and safe delivery to clients. Due to the last-minute nature of production catering, flexibility and a CAN DO attitude are essential.
Ideal candidates will be polite, prompt, and dedicated to providing excellent service, with a focus on order accuracy, safety, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, deliver, and set up items for clients.
- Verify order completeness before and after delivery.
- Assist with loading/unloading from company vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries.
- Adhere to assigned routes, time schedules, and transportation laws.
- Follow all COVID-19 safety protocols.
- Maintain communication with Production Manager regarding delivery ETAs and changes.
- Ensure proper care of company vehicles.
Requirements:
- Valid US driver's license and clean driving record.
- Availability for early mornings and occasional late nights.
- Willingness to adhere to schedules, safety protocols, and transportation laws.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift heavy items.
- Attention to detail and proactive communication.
- Previous corporate catering or food industry experience preferred.
- Personal car preferred for early call times at the production facility.
