Leonard's Palazzo, a premier event venue and catering service located in Great Neck, NY is seeking passionate individuals to join our kitchen team. We are currently hiring for full-time / part-time positions, including Cooks, Line Prep, and a Sous Chef. If you have a strong culinary background, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for creating exceptional dishes, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Cooks: Prepare a variety of high-quality dishes according to recipes and customer specifications. Execute cooking methods such as grilling, baking, frying, and sautéing. Ensure food presentation meets the highest standards.
Line Prep: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstations and equipment. Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Previous experience in a similar role a plus, with a strong background in culinary arts.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious dishes.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and late hours.
