We’re hiring a dependable and experienced Barista to join our small but mighty team at a neighborhood sandwich shop and café in Brooklyn. This role is for our morning opening shift — ideal for someone who’s friendly, efficient, and ready to start the day with purpose.
Responsibilities:
Open the café and prep for daily service
Make high-quality espresso and coffee drinks
Greet and engage customers in a warm and upbeat way
Upsell food and beverage items
Maintain a clean and organized station
Represent our hospitality-first approach with pride

Opened in August 2024, we’re an elevated sandwich shop and café focused on quality ingredients and genuine customer connection. We rely on our regulars and neighborhood foot traffic, so a great attitude goes a long way.
Requirements:
Prior barista experience (1+ year preferred)
Solid espresso and coffee-making skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Punctual and reliable (especially for early shifts)
Passion for food, drink, and community
NYC DOH Card a plus!
Schedule & Pay:
Morning opening shift
20–30+ hours/week (4–5 shifts/week)
$11/hr base + tips (negotiable depending on experience)
