Experienced Floor Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience: Ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued by maintaining high service standards, promptly addressing concerns, and regularly engaging with guests to enhance their dining experience.

Coordination with the Kitchen: Act as a bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to deliver timely and accurate orders.

Managing Seating: Oversee and optimize seating arrangements, including managing reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists to maintain a smooth flow of service and minimize wait times.

Answering Incoming Calls: Handle incoming calls professionally, including taking reservations, managing inquiries, and addressing guest needs promptly.

Health Code Compliance: Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with local health codes and create a safe dining environment for guests and staff.

Creating Operational Efficiencies: Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, from streamlining service processes to managing shift changes and transitions smoothly.

Touch Tables and Address Concerns: Regularly visit tables to check guest satisfaction, proactively addressing any concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.

Creating a Positive Environment: Foster a happy, positive atmosphere for both guests and staff by encouraging a culture of respect, teamwork, and enthusiasm.

Training and Developing Staff: Lead by example, providing training, guidance, and development opportunities to front-of-house staff to help them succeed and grow in their roles.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills, focusing on training and staff development.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

A deep commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.

Knowledge of NYC health and safety regulations and a commitment to upholding these standards.

NYC food handlers certificate

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to managing guests and operational issues.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
