FOH Captain – Black Forest Brooklyn.
Lead, motivate, and elevate the guest experience across two of Brooklyn’s favorite concepts with 3 locations.
Black Forest Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Front of House Captain — a hands-on, tipped shift leader who brings energy, warmth, and strong leadership to every service.
The Role (40 hrs/week $1500 before taxes.)
As FOH Captain, you’ll lead the floor during service, ensuring seamless operations and genuine hospitality from open to close. Captains typically work in one main location but may support across all venues when needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and motivate the FOH team each shift
- Run pre-shift meetings and communicate specials, 86s, and priorities
- Work on the floor alongside your team, running food, bartending, serving, greeting guests, or resetting tables
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and DOH compliance
- Manage cash drawers, comps, and voids accurately
- Provide coaching and support to staff in real time
- Work closely with Owners and Management to keep operations seamless
