As we expand our presence in Staten Island, we’re seeking a dependable and motivated Food Truck Associate to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
We are hiring a Food Truck Associate who holds a valid NYC Mobile Food Vending License. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, customer service, and daily truck operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with customers.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve menu items following Zaika Kitchen’s quality standards
Assist with truck setup, operation, and cleanup each day
Take customer orders and handle payments accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with NYC DOHMH regulations
Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
Ensure smooth truck operations and excellent customer experience
Qualifications:
Valid NYC Mobile Food Vending License (required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends)
Ability to drive the Food Truck is a Bonus
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay: $17–$23/hour (based on experience)
