We are a small, family-run grocer in Brooklyn looking for a full time, customer service oriented front counter/deli staff member. We are looking for someone with experience working in a deli. We have reasonable hours, regular time off, and a comfortable work environment. Start as soon as possible!
Job includes helping customers with meats, cheeses, and other Italian and European specialties, making sandwiches, keeping deli station clean, maintaining relationships with customers, as well as stocking, organizing, and maintaining the shelves. Desired qualifications:
Energetic, organized and on time, with a positive, friendly attitude
Must have experience safely using a slicing machine
Experience doing deli work/food service
Excellent customer service skills
Can comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
