We are currently interviewing for Head Chef Position. Applicants Must have at least 3 years of verifiable Executive Chef experience in a restaurant environment. Sous Chefs with at least 6 years of verifiable restaurant experience will also be acceptable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Staffing all BOH positions, interviewing, hiring, firing
Scheduling appropriately, avoiding understaffing as well as overstaffing
Menu creation, weekly specials etc
Fully responsible for BOH coverage, filling open shifts, handling no shows etc
Sourcing quality ingredients, locally when possible, doing inventory and ordering from vendors, while maintaining appropriate COGS
Ensure food handling and storage is according to health dept standards
Maintaining an immaculate kitchen
Daily communication with the ownership, and ensuring BOH communicates and works efficiently with FOH
Applicants Must be Certfied Food Protection Managers, or become certified before hire date.
Applicants chosen for interviews will be required to prepare dishes to display their talent and skill level.
