We are looking for eager individuals to join the Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidates will be trained professionals that can provide top-level service, to match the level of cuisine and the quality of product we serve. We are looking for individuals who communicate well, are dependable, and enthusiastic. The candidates will have a passion for food and beverage equally, and understand how to read a guest properly to ensure quality service, leaving a lasting impression and memorable experience. This is a temporary position with the potential of becoming permanent
MAIN DUTIES:
Serving experience in an upscale market
Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus)
Tray set ups and delivery
Barista skillset (making coffees/teas)
Able to work well under pressure during times of high-volume service
Exceptional upselling techniques
To ensure all allergies procedures are followed at all times
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience as a Room Service or a Server in a hotel or fine dining restaurant
Knowledge of Micros POS System
Highly organized
Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, weekdays, weekends and holidays
Work in Mini Bar when necessary
To have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations
To take personal responsibility for punctuality
