Opportunity for advancement as Kalye is going to be a multi-unit restaurant.
We need someone who can:
1. Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of KALYE: Creating Happier Experiences!
2. Take guests’ orders and record ordered items on tickets to ensure the KDS/Expo/Cook receives the order.
3. Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers.
4. Prepare bills for food and accept payment or make change. Study and learn Toast POS.
5. Help expedite food items for serving to customers, such as sliders, salads, and desserts, according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
6. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
7. Generate the required reports in the Toast POS after shift.
8. On peak times, assist in wrapping menu items for serving or for takeout.
9. Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean glasses, dishes, etc.
10. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
11. Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
12. Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
