Woorijip is hiring a kitchen manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the longest standing Korean restaurants in NYC for those interested in a long-term career in the food business. This hire will work closely with and be trained directly by the owner to assist in essential facets of our restaurant and kitchen operations.

Hours/Salary:
Monday – Friday
9 AM – 5 PM
up to $85,000 annual salary based on experience
Requirements:
English – Fluent, Korean – Intermediate, Spanish - Basic Kitchen
Must have or be willing to obtain NYC food protection certificate
Minimum two years of experience in a kitchen setting
Knowledge of Korean cuisine
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Highly personable and ability to resolve conflicts with professionalism
Microsoft Excel/Word
Responsibilities:
Food quality control
Menu oversight and execution
Kitchen staff management and hiring
Kitchen inventory/equipment oversight
Non-kitchen related duties as needed
