Responsibilities:
Cooking the entire menu to order, strong focus on presentation
Check freshness and quality of ingredients
Ensure kitchen is properly cleaned and packed down at end of shift, occasional dishwashing required
Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Prepping ingredients, stocktaking
Occasional Dishwashing, willingness to wear multiple hats
Qualifications:
Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
Passion for food and cooking techniques
Strong team-working qualities
Ability to both work well alone and follow instructions (understand the assignment)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, sense of urgency
NYC Food Handlers card, or working towards, a plus
