Dear Irving on Hudson is seeking a professional, dynamic Floor Manager. We are a busy, upscale cocktail bar / private event space that thrives off upbeat energy, passionate individuals & creative cocktails. We are looking for a team player that can be engaged with the guests, the staff and the overall flow and quality of service. The role requires that you are present throughout service to ensure that all staff have everything they need in order to deliver the best service and that all guests are happy. We seek to create memorable experiences for our guests and that requires a passionate, engaged and attentive Floor Manager. Position Qualifications:
-Professional and polished demeanor and look
-Must be able to work late nights and weekends
-Must have at least 2 years of experience in managing a team, hospitality and customer service.
-TIPS certified (optional for hiring but if you do join the team you will be required to take the course and will be reimbursed)
-Excellent communication
-Takes initiative
-Able to stay focused and committed to the job while on the clock
-Must be over 21
-Maintain composure and patience with all guests and staff
-Must have NYC DOH Food Handler's Certificate
-Must be literate in Microsoft Office, have experience setting up/maintaining POS's and reservation platforms such as Resy or Open Table.
Salary: $63,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year based on experience
