What We’re Looking For

You take pride in crafting excellent sushi

You enjoy engaging with guests and creating a welcoming experience

You value teamwork and collaboration with colleagues

You’re looking for a steady, well-paying job with room to grow

Your Responsibilities

Prepare sushi boxes and customer orders

Set up and break down the sushi bar station

Keep a clean, organized workstation

Prep ingredients, including breaking down and portioning tuna, hamachi, and salmon

Make precise cuts of fish loins and fillets for sushi

Assist the Executive Sushi Chef as needed

Plate and present dishes with care and precision

Maintain sushi inventory and storage

Follow NYC health department codes

Interact with guests in a professional, friendly manner

Communicate effectively and collaborate with the team

What You Bring to the Team

1+ years of experience in a sushi bar setting

Excellent knife skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen

Strong time management and communication skills

Willingness to learn from the Chef and develop your skills

Availability to work nights and weekends
