Job Title: Wine Sales and Delivery Associate
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Sales and Delivery Associate to join our team at our natural wine shop. The Sales and Delivery Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting natural wines and delivering orders to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about natural wines and able to communicate their benefits to customers.
The position is part time, 2 days per week, average of 16 hours a week, with room for shifts to pickup.
Pay starts at $19+ per hour plus tips depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting natural wines based on their taste preferences and budget
Provide accurate information about the natural wines, including their origin, production process, and taste profile
Process sales transactions and handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and rotating inventory
Prepare and package orders for delivery and shipping
Deliver orders to customers in a timely and efficient manner, using a your own transportation (car or bicycle)
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record IF using a car for delivery
Strong communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of natural wines
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as loading and unloading inventory and delivering orders
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Experience in sales or customer service is preferred, but not required
