Sous Chefs
We are looking for line cooks who can work five days and 40 hours a week. We are looking for strong cooks who can work fast when it is busy and willing to prep and clean while it is not. Knowledge of cooking with at least 2 years of experience is required. Applicants must be able to communicate with management competently
All cooks are expected to be able to:
Work in a fast-paced environment
Work a five day a week schedule and also willing to work weekends
Knowledge of meat temperatures, cooking/poaching eggs, and precise knife cuts
Knowledge of Department of Health regulations for food storage and preparation
Work fast, clean and organized
Clean the station you work as you go and at the end of each shift
Present food appropriately and be able to work directly from recipes
Willingness to learn from others, communicate with others, and help others when needed
Must show up to work on time
Must own kitchen shoes, a chef knife, tongs, and a mandolin
Maintain a professional appearance and uniform by restaurant guidelines
Passion for food and the hospitality industry
