We have multiple clients and different locations throughout the city who are opening back up and we need you! Bartenders, Servers, Hosts, Coat Check Attendants, Registration Desk, and front-of-house professionals!
We are looking to hire the most talented events staff to work with our high profile clients on a flex schedule. We need Bartenders, Servers, Coat Check Attendants, Registration Desk, and front-of-house professionals to work our client's upscale corporate events. What's great about our events is that you can pick up shifts whenever you are available, and you are in total control of creating your schedule. You only work as much as you want to!
Pay: $18-22
Schedule: per diem
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Preparing tables by setting up linens, polishing silverware and glassware
-Communicating effectively with Site Managers, Kitchen Staff, and Service Staff
-Carrying "small bites" and refreshments on hand-held trays
-Checking dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation
-Maintaining proper table settings and a tidy dining area
-Carrying dirty plates/glasses/silverware to kitchen for cleaning with a polished demeanor
-Consistently providing excellent customer service to guests
-Light cleaning- vacuuming, rearranging conference rooms, wiping tables and mirrors, sweeping, set-up/breakdown of event space
Requirements:
-Proven work experience as working for a restaurant group or upscale/luxury venue
-Adhere to uniform standards
-Attentiveness and patience for customers
-Excellent presentation skills
-Ability to follow directions
-Ability to stand for extended periods of time
-Excellent customer service skills
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
-Active listening and effective communication skills
-Team spirit!
-Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs
-Flexibility to work various shifts
Qualifications:
-Previous waitress, waiter, or banquet server experience
-Excellent communication and listening skills
-Ability to follow directions
-Excellent customer service skills
-Stand for extended periods of time
