A dynamic, women-led restaurant in the heart of Greenpoint is seeking an energetic, and enthusiastic Service Director for a full-time position. Key Responsibilities include working closely with our General Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high staff morale, monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, ambiance, and overall restaurant appearance, upholding restaurant policy and procedure, and general administrative tasks including but not limited to cash handling, payroll, scheduling, and inventory.
Qualifications
. At least 1 year of management experience and extensive experience working in fine dining or upscale dining establishments. A food handler certificate is greatly appreciated but not required.
. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-notch service
. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency
. Familiarity with Resy and Toast systems
. Full time availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
. A genuine passion for food, wine, and the hospitality industry
. Ability to lift 30 lbs, go up and down stairs, and stand for long periods of time.
