Our café is located in 45th Street in Sunnyside Queens.
We are seeking for a barista someone who is passionate about coffee, consistency of making drink equivalently, organizing barista station well, responsibility of taking all work duties and creating incredible guest experiences grounded in care and respect.
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
- Proven experience as a barista (preferred) or in a similar role in the
hospitality industry
- Ability to work 3-4 days a week.
- Responsible and cleanly workplace habits (Cleaning duties, Following communal jobs, etc)
- Maintain full consistency in all working areas
- Strong time management
- Well Organized person
- Able to memorized our recipe and duties
- Able to light lift and to stand for long periods of time
- 1-2 years of customer service and food handling experiences
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other menu items with precision and consistency of equivalent taste
- Ability to work in a fast-faced environment and handle high-volume periods
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following strict hygiene and safety standards
- Good memorization skills: the ability to learn menu details and provide
the information about our products to the customer, responsibility of following all working duties
- Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with patrons to ensure a
memorable visit
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak
Hours
- Operate the Square POS system
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Compensation: $18 per hour + tips (avg. hourly tip is $2.00-$3.00)
Expected hours: 3-4 days after discussion with other staffs (7:30am to 4:30pm)
