Shaver Hall, set to open in 2025 in NYC’s iconic Lord & Taylor building, will feature an exceptional lineup of culinary and entertainment experiences. Highlights include 11 food stalls showcasing the best of NYC’s dining scene, a 130-seat upscale steakhouse, a wine, cheese, and charcuterie bar, a 12-seat Omakase restaurant, and a vibrant main bar with a stage for live entertainment. Shaver Hall is the latest groundbreaking project by Food Hall Co.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Steakhouse General Manager at Shaver Food Hall located in the New York City. The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the steakhouse, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and financial performance. They will also be responsible for ensuring high-quality food and service standards are met consistently.
Training for this role will be conducted in Dallas, potentially requiring candidates to stay and work in the area for up to six months during the training period.
Qualifications
Experience in restaurant management, particularly in steakhouse or fine dining establishments
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Food safety and hygiene certification
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
