Vin Sur Vingt Bistro is hiring lead line cooks for its Midtown East location.
Link Cook Responsibilities:
Starting $24-25/hr based on experience
Dish: $18-$20 based on experience
- Reports directly to Head Chef
- Full time availability - flexible both day and evening
- Ensure all ingredients are prepped
- Check for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures
- Maintain prep areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure sanitary food-handling practices
- Ensures company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained
- Works as a team member to support other restaurant employees in their duties
- Complete other general cleaning duties, including washing dishes as needed
- Ensures food quality at all times
- Work alongside porter to facilitate receiving and maintenance of incoming deliveries
- Other duties as assigned by Chef
