Gnarly Vines is a vibrant, adored neighborhood wine and spirits shop in Fort Greene, Brooklyn that's been serving the community going on 17 years.
We are seeking a responsible detail-oriented person with a passion for wine and spirits, a desire to learn more and willing to work their way up.
Compensation and Perks:
- Starting Salary: $18-$22/hour commensurate with experience plus some tips
- Generous staff discount on wines and spirits
- Simple IRA with 3% salary match after vesting period

The right candidate will:
- Have an interest in wine and spirits and be pro-active in learning more
- Willing and eager to do the heavy lifting of stocking and restocking
- Ring up customers
- Have a strong sense of hospitality and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Maintain appearance of the store
- Computer, photography and graphic design skills are a plus!
- Able to lift 40 lbs up and down a flight of stairs
- Have an all hands on deck attitude in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment of at least 16 hours per week
- Be flexible as your schedule will include nights, weekends and holidays
