MRI Technologist position in Midtown Manhattan, NYC.
MRI Technologist Requirements and Requirements:
ARRT and State License or ARMRIT (in good standing only)
Must be a “people person”, spending 30-45 minutes with patients and often conversing. MRI tech is in same room, sitting with patients.
Scanning and processing patients.
Logging patients’ and MRI info in Excel.
Esaote O-Scan open extremity only MRI machine. Will train on this machine.
No contrast used.
Use of MS Excel, Online EHR (Practice Fusion), Cloud based PACS, Local PACS backup.
Part Time Hours:
Monday 8am – 6pm
Wednesday 8am – 6pm
(Coverage of other Tech’s requested vacation and personal days available)
Low stress environment. Each patient gets 45-60 minutes. Maximum 12 patients in 10-hour day.
Paid lunch break but must adjust 30-minute break based on patients scheduled. Convenient location between Grand Central and Herald Square subways, Metro North.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Part Time MRI technologist job available.
2 Days per week. Mondays and Wednesdays. 9am - 6pm. (Optional coverage of other Tech’s requested vacation and personal days available)
Midtown Manhattan, New York. Small private MRI office.
We utilize a single Esaote O-Scan Extremity MRI scanner. Will train on this machine.
We only perform MRIs on the extremities - elbows, wrists, arms, hands, knees, tib-fib, ankles, and feet.
We do not use IV contrast.
We typically scan 5-8 patients per day.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
ARRT Certification in MRI and up-to-date continuing education.
SKILLS:
Ability to work self directed without supervision.
Must be dependable and especially punctual.
Must be a good people person and provide one on one attention to patients. MRI Technologist sits in the same room with the patients.
