Better Home Health Care is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (Nurse Educator) for our Forest Hills office.
Nurse Educator
The Staff Development/Educator is a New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse who organizes, directs and instructs the agencies certified home health aide training and in-service programs.
Job Type: PER-DIEM
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities:
Supervises and teaches in order to improve practice within the Agency.
Works closely with the Director of Clinical Services to establish methods to facilitate and attain the objectives of the teaching program.
Promotes Staff Development
Maintaining standards and requirements set by the State of New York Department of Health regarding attendance, curriculum, student performance, required submissions and physical set-up of training room.
Employment - Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays - normal business hours
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
New York State Licensed Registered Nurse
A Valid Driver's license
Minimum one year home care experience.
BSN preferred
Computer literate
Job Type: Full-time
