Premiere Brooklyn cleaning company seeks experienced commercial cleaning crew for jobs State-wide. Permanent, F/T positions, weekday shifts, OT, paid vacation, company vehicle / gas card /gear, competitive salary based on experience. Immediate hire. Clean, maintain, organize homes, offices and other job sites. Background in commercial / industrial cleaning required (janitor, custodian, handyman also welcome). Standard tools and procedures, Site safety; use power tools, solvents, cleansers safely (OSHA cert. preferred). Must have valid NYS driver’s license. English speaking (bilingual a plus). Know the City – be able to get around.
Basic cleaning using standard (power) tools and procedures.
Operate carpet / upholstery steamer and pressure washer.
Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, wipe, spot clean
Sanitize & Deodorize
Power Wash Walls & Facades
Clean rooms, offices, corridors, stairways, furniture, bathrooms, walkways, etc.
Clean (major) appliances, equipment, furnishings, fixtures, trim, etc.
Wash and spot clean ceilings, walls, glass doors, light fixtures and windows as needed.
Dust horizontal and high surfaces.
Damp-wipe stairway treads, elevator cabs and railing
Scrub / Polish / Buff, Dust, (Wet) Mop Floors. Strip & Refinish Hard(wood) Floors.
Wet/dry, (Spot) Clean, Vacuum, Shampoo & Steam-Treat Carpets, Rugs & Runners
Damp Wipe, (Spot) Clean & Steam Treat Furniture & Upholstery
Clean & Polish metal & porcelain Fixtures & Surfaces.
Collect. Sort, Bag & Tag Soiled Laundry for processing.
Check, Count, Label, Deliver Clean Laundry to clients as scheduled
Spot-Check cleaning before sign-out
Collect, Bag & Remove Waste / Rubbish / Debris to Holding Sites.
Empty Trash Cans & Bins
Measure and Mix Solvents & Cleaning Solutions.
Clean & Maintain Tools, Gear, Supplies, Vehicles and PPP in good working order
Repair / replace Tools, Equipment or Supplies as needed
Maintain Logs, Records & Photographs of on-site work & submit when requested
Observe and Report Site Hazards / Conditions to field supervisors
Help with on-site Damage Control / Response in case of Fire, Accident or other Situation.
Clean / Treat Emergency Spills as seen or requested
Respond to on-site Disputes or Incidents as directed by supervisors or managers
Related duties as indicated or directed by crew chief,
Qualifications:
2-3 years of Commercial / Industrial Cleaning Experience
Cleaning Crew, Custodian / Janitor, Maintenance
Experience using standard tools, equipment, solvents, methods and procedures
