We are a fence fabricator and distributor looking for a shop assistant. This job will assist with assembly, distribution and delivery of customer orders.
MUST HAVE:
Must have clean NYS drivers license (CDL NOT REQUIRED) AND be comfortable operating flatbed delivery trucks.
Must have experience operating a delivery truck (we use flatbed trucks for our deliveries).
Must be able to load and unload customer orders.
Must work well with others and be reliable.
Must have craftsmanship skills, for example know how to take measurements, use tools, etc
Must be willing to learn. We are willing to teach.
Considered a plus:
Fence industry experience is a plus.
Welding experience is a plus.
Experience working with customers is a plus.
Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
Prior experience working in a fabrication shop or manufacturing role is a plus.
Basic computer skills is a plus but not required.
English speaking but a second language is a plus.
