I recently moved into a new apartment and need help with a variety of small projects - mostly straightforward carpentry, installations and assemblies, but also including minor hardware, electrical and plumbing work. These could be tasks for one super-efficient guy… some may be easier for a pair working together if you have a second person you work with on a regular basis.
I work from home and would like someone at least one day a week until tasks are complete.
A very brief/incomplete summary of things to do:
hardware replacement at existing interior doors and one dresser cabinet
plumbing adjustments at existing toilet flush mechanism and tub-spout
existing light switches replaced with dimmers
w/d closet; install backflow prevention insert within existing floor drain
storage cabinetry and shelving assembly
rear yard; assemble/install storage shed plus miscellaneous yard cleanup
Would prefer a day rate rather than an hourly rate, but will work however you’re comfortable. Can pay you in cash. I am not going to haggle with you, but I'm also on a budget. Just tell me what you need to get paid. I have some basic tools, but not all. I’m two blocks from Home Depot.
