Position Summary:
Private household seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Residential Maintenance & Handyman Professional to support the upkeep, repair, and general tidiness of a large private home. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong handyman abilities and a willingness to assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Handyman & Maintenance Duties:
Maintain and oversee electrical room, boiler room, elevator and pool equipment rooms
Conduct basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
Assemble furniture, repair fixtures, paint touch up
Maintain outdoor areas (e.g., patios, walkways, light landscaping tasks)
Manage seasonal home maintenance tasks (e.g., gutter cleaning, general winterizing)
General Housekeeping Support:
Assist with deep cleaning projects and large household tasks
Move and organize household items and storage spaces
Help with special event setup or post-event cleanup
Assist housekeeping staff with daily tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Experience in home maintenance, as a general handyman, housekeeper, or janitor
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and household systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Excellent time management and self-direction
Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy
Proficient English speaker
