Position Details:
Role: Attorney
Experience Required: At least 2 years of relevant legal experience
Practice Areas: Immigration, family and divorce law, civil litigation, and landlord-tenant law
Court Appearances: Required regularly
Location: Richmond Hill, NY
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience (no benefits offered)
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and motions.
Manage a diverse caseload across various practice areas.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in at least one of the firm’s main practice areas.
Strong courtroom skills and the ability to handle a variety of court proceedings.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
Bilingual skills (preferred especially helpful in Punjabi/Hindi/Spanish/Urdu/Bengali but not required) to serve our diverse clientele.
