Calendar Clerk for Personal Injury Law Firm - Experienced, English/Spanish
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Calendar Clerk to join our prestigious law firm located in Downtown Manhattan, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our legal proceedings by managing court appearances, scheduling depositions, and coordinating Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Calendar court appearances, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Schedule depositions, coordinating with attorneys, clients, and court reporters to secure appropriate dates and locations.
- Handle Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) for clients, including scheduling appointments, communicating instructions, and organizing relevant documentation.
- Monitor and track upcoming deadlines and legal proceedings to ensure timely preparation and submission of necessary documents.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and external parties to coordinate schedules and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all scheduled appointments, hearings, and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working at a personal injury Law firm required.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
- Proficiency in calendar management software.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00
