Fast-paced Personal Injury / Workers' Compensation Law Firm with locations in Queens / Brooklyn and Bronx NY seeking experienced personal injury attorney to join our "dream team"!
At least 2 years of PLAINTIFF personal injury experience required;
Ability to work under pressure, expeditiously and accurately;
Knowledge of all New York City courts, including their procedures and requirements;
Experience litigating Labor Law construction cases a plus;
Trial experience a plus;
Bi-lingual / Spanish speaking a plus!

Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate with clients, adversaries, judges and court personnel;
Daily Client contact/ relationship building;
Manage an extremely active caseload and direct/task paralegal and support staff;
Prepare clients for depositions;
Take and defend depositions;
Court appearances and effective legal writing are essential;
Manage discovery;
Draft motions and opposition papers, prepare and review pleadings and discovery documents, do legal research and prepare/edit other legal documents;
Attend court conferences and argue motions;
Oversee the work of paralegals and legal assistants;
Negotiate / settle cases with defense counsel and insurance companies.
Salary to commensurate with experience + bonuses / percentage of settlements. 200k+ Package
