We're seeking a legal case manager to keep our increasing quantity of matters on track. The position requires familiarity with the litigation process and associated deadlines and the ability to encourage and motivate people. It also requires the ability to quickly gain systematic insight into the matters and the willingness to follow up frequently and provide short but insightful daily reports to management.
Being an adept problem solver with a get-it-done attitude is a great predictor of success in this position. Problems frequently arise; there is always a good reason not to get the job done; however, we must devise solutions on the spot and move on, one way or another. You should be oriented towards systemic solutions to problems, not one-off solutions.
This fully remote position is expected to take 5 to 10 hours per week. Pay is $20/hr. More hours, additional responsibilities, benefits, and plenty of goodies may become available if the firm continues its rapid growth. We have found it is best to start small and grow from there.
