We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all stages of personal injury cases from initial client intake through trial preparation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct client interviews to gather case details and relevant information.
- Perform data entry and maintain case files accurately.
- Assist in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Utilize legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
- Handle phone calls with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally.
- Draft, transcribe, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Manage document production using document management systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal specializing in personal injury law.
- Proficiency in file organization and management.
- Familiarity with legal research tools like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely for legal documents.
-Ability to draft S&C's, BP's, Responses to Discovery Demands / Orders, Subpoenas, etc.
- Excellent transcription skills for documenting legal proceedings accurately.
Spanish or Russian Speaking is strongly preferred, but not a must
