Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring smooth office operations? Our fast-paced personal injury law firm is seeking a highly motivated Office Manager/HR Specialist to join our team. This role combines administrative leadership with human resource management to ensure our office runs efficiently and our staff thrives.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a productive and organized work environment.

Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.

Implement and maintain efficient office systems and procedures.

Coordinate with IT support for troubleshooting and technology upgrades.

Monitor budgets, billing, and expenses; assist with payroll processing.

Ensure compliance with office protocols and legal regulations.

Human Resources:

Recruit, screen, and onboard new employees.

Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Address employee concerns and mediate workplace disputes.

Conduct performance evaluations and develop improvement plans.

Manage employee leave requests (e.g., PTO, FMLA) and oversee benefits administration.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace safety standards.

Personal Injury Support:

Oversee client intake processes and ensure proper onboarding of new cases.

Work with attorneys and paralegals to optimize case workflows and deadlines.

Ensure timely communication and coordination of case-related tasks.

Monitor and improve document management, including medical record retrieval and discovery deadlines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in office management, human resources, or a related field (law firm experience preferred).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency in legal software and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, case management software).

Knowledge of HR best practices and labor law compliance.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
