We are a growing and reputable sign company in Long Island City, NY, known for delivering high-quality signage and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Production Artist & Vinyl Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate pre-press file setups for digital printing and signage fabrication
Operate and maintain digital print RIP software and equipment
Utilize Adobe Illustrator for file preparation and design adjustments
Handle vinyl cutting, weeding, and application with precision
Collaborate with a team to meet production deadlines while maintaining a high level of execution
Troubleshoot production and design challenges to ensure top-quality results
Prioritize tasks effectively to maintain a smooth workflow
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a production artist or vinyl specialist role
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and digital print RIP software
Strong understanding of signage fabrication and vinyl application techniques
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in pre-press setup
Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
Reliable, dependable, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
