Looking for a part-time administrative assistant for a Reform Synagogue located in Northeast Queens.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:
Knowledge of office practices and procedures;
Working knowledge of QuickBooks is expected;
Experience with data entry and recordkeeping;
Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word; and Outlook;
Strong written and verbal communication skills to speak with Temple members and Vendors;
Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented;
Ability to multi task.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparing and entering deposits into QuickBooks;
Timely processing of vendor invoices and preparation of checks for payment;
Processing credit card transactions for dues/donations/other payments and entering into QuickBooks;
Answering phones;
Maintaining and filing records;
Ordering supplies.
Hours:
Wed and Friday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:30 am to 4:30 pm - possibility of additional hours
