We are a growing logistics and trucking company based in Nassau County, Long Island, NY, specializing in deliveries from New York to other states. We are seeking a dispatcher to join our team and support our expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and assign routes for drivers across multiple states
Maintain communication with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries
Provide real-time problem-solving and route adjustments when necessary
Manage scheduling, logs, and transportation paperwork
Communicate with customers and provide delivery updates
Proactively call businesses and companies to offer our transportation services and generate new opportunities
Qualifications:
Previous dispatch or logistics experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive operations
Proficient with phones, email, and computer systems
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
Sales or customer outreach experience is a plus
