Global investment firm located in Midtown, Manhattan is looking to hire a Temporary to Permanent Facilities Assistant. This Assistant will be a part of a 4-person team in support of the office which is comprised of 4 floors and a conference center. The Facilities Assistant must feel comfortable being on their feet and moving throughout the office all day. Day to day you will bind documents for meetings, setup and breakdown the conference rooms before and after meetings, deliver mail, handle packages, prepare coffee, stock supplies, pick up food deliveries from the lobby and some light facilities tasks i.e. changing a lightbulb or putting together a piece of furniture if needed. Hours will range between 8am - 6pm depending on the shift. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and willing to help wherever and whenever needed. One should have 6+ months of corporate experience managing similar tasks.
