Hiring for Bilingual English/Spanish WIC Support Specialists!

We’re seeking a reliable and community-focused WIC Support Specialist to join our team. This hybrid position is mostly onsite, with 1–2 days of remote work (laptop provided). Candidates must have internet access and a dedicated workspace at home.
This role is ideal for a Corona-local who may have received WIC services themselves and wants to give back to their community. No prior WIC experience is required — we provide extensive training!
Schedule:
Mon, Tue, Fri: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wed/Thu: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM OR 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with a weekday off when working Saturday)
Responsibilities:
-Support WIC program services at the front desk and through data entry in NYWIC software
-Assist with client intake, scheduling, and documentation
-Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support to community members
-Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
-Contribute to a welcoming and supportive environment
Requirements:
-High School Diploma (or equivalent)
-Bilingual: English & Spanish (required)
-Basic understanding of WIC and its purpose
-Interest in nutrition services and community support
-General computer skills and ability to handle data entry
-Reliable internet and workspace at home for remote days
