Performing Arts Center in Brooklyn is seeking to hire a long-term Temporary Marketing Manager for an open-ended assignment. The start for this role is ASAP and must commit for a minimum of 6 months. This role is in office 2 days/week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9am-6pm with the remaining days work from home. Must have flexibility for OT. Hourly rate up to $40/hr DOE.Responsibilities:Create and implement effective marketing plans tailored to the specific needs, challenges, and budget of each program to reach engagement, and revenue goals and fulfilling strategic audience initiativesIncrease awareness and visibility of the brand and programsAttract new and diverse audiences and build audience loyaltyOversee the brand voice and visual identity through the creation of all marketing assets (including, email, social media content, display advertising, signage, etc.).Pursue and implement efficiencies in all areas of marketing through new approachesEstablish positioning, audience segmentation, and strategy for shows and programs.Create and adhere to detailed project timelinesDevelop creative briefs and oversee all creative executions for all related advertising (digital, print, outdoor, radio) and public facing communications (web, email, social media, direct mail, flyers, onsite posters, signage, etc.)Generate social media content in partnership with storytelling manager to increase reach, and engagementMake spending and spend mix decisions in consultation with Director of Insights and Engagement to stay on budget and maximize ROIMeasure and analyze effectiveness/ROI of marketing effortsRepresent the brand marketing with internal and external partnersKeep informed of developments in the fields of social media, digital marketing, not-for-profit management, and performing arts, and use this information to help operate with initiative and innovationExperience:3+ years of marketing experience necessaryKnowledge of current digital marketing strategies and best practicesProject management experienceAbility to read revenue spreadsheets and analyze dataAbility to manage and maintain budgetsKnowledge and experience with MS Office Suite and Google Suite; Knowledge and experience with InDesign a plusWilling to work some evening or weekend hoursClearly communicates marketing objectives and collaborates effectively with creative teamsThinks creatively and identifies opportunities for improvementStrong consensus builder who uses data to form opinions and persuade others to changeTakes initiative and holds self and others accountableFastidious attention to detail and quality assuranceBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
