Global media company located in Newark NJ is seeking an experienced candidates for a senior marketing manager job. . This is an 8-month contract job onsite in Newark NJ.

Pay: $88.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

About this role:

This role requires someone with deep expertise across awareness and performance media channels and will be an integral part to establish foundational processes, enable growth, and improve efficiencies. The ideal candidate will work very closely with local marketers as well as coordinate cross functionally inside and outside the marketing org. This job will work across strategy as well media operations and ad tech with the intent to streamline and improve our tools and systems.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leading multimedia campaigns as well as strong project management skills, working cross functionally across teams and departments – creative, tech, integrated marketing, etc.

This role requires a self-starter or can operate in ambiguity and move projects forward. The position requires a media generalist with:

· An understanding of all tactics and channels.

· A strong project management skill set as the role will need to juggle multiple projects at any given time.

· A fundamental understanding of the multicultural marketplaces is preferred.

· A forward thinker who has an analytical or data driven mindset, able to see the “bigger picture”.

Key Responsibilities

· Leading campaigns and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across multiple teams.

· Oversight and ownership of global media approaches.

· Responsible for improving processes and moving the business towards operational excellence.

· Develop overarching policy, principles, process, and best practices across media, ad tech and media ops.

· Spearhead the data collation and analysis of media analytics both internally as well as with agencies.

· Ownership of real time digital dashboards reports as well as the distribution to larger team with insights.

Manage and update budgets and finance documents.

Proactive thinking on how to improve process and overall project management.

Project management of ad hoc initiatives as well as cross functional work with creative, content, and product

Basic qualifications

Experience in project management.

Preferred experience working with media agencies.

Firm understanding of the overall media landscape as we as a comprehensive knowledge of most paid media channels (display, social, radio, TV, OOH, OLV, mobile app, etc.)

Always up to speed on marketing trends with a keen understanding of ad formats, specifications, and the different tactics

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment.

Clear and concise communication skills

Experience in tracking customer journey across multiple devices and provide a holistic view of performance drivers.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights and learnings from reports.

Proven ability for innovation and ability to bring new ideas to the table to continue to advance the business.

Experience managing a holistic budget.

Preferred qualifications

7+ years marketing experience in a goal-oriented organization

Global Experience on brand or agency side

Experience setting and achieving quantitative goals for both brand and direct response objectives.

Ad tech experience preferred.
