We are seeking a highly organized Product Sourcing Specialist with experience working with manufacturers overseas (mainly China) within the consumer electronics industry . The ideal candidate will work closely with the product development manager to facilitate the development process of our products. This role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Request and follow up on product samples from manufacturers.
Organize and maintain images, specifications, and costs in spreadsheets.
Receive product samples from manufacturers, particularly from China.
Record and catalog product samples accurately.
Store product samples neatly and in an organized manner.
Work with manufacturers overseas to ensure timely delivery and quality of samples.
Communicate effectively with manufacturers to resolve any issues or concerns.
Assist in the preparation of product documentation and reports.
Support the product development team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in product development, procurement, or a related field is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with international shipping and customs procedures is a plus.
