Position: Liquor Store Cashier and Inventory Stocker (3 Shifts: 9am - 2pm, 2pm - 7pm, 7pm - 12am EST)
Key Responsibilities:
Cashier Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues.
- Verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Inventory Stocker Duties:
- Receive, unpack, and organize inventory shipments.
- Stock shelves and ensure product displays are neat and accessible.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies to management.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure that all products are stored according to safety and health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier and/or inventory stocker in a retail environment, preferably in a liquor store or similar setting.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer interactions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Must be at least 22 years of age to apply.
